Nisha Ashley

Nisha started her career in finance but her road to education started with her children as she volunteered at their elementary school. She then went on to serve as a board member and PTA president for 4 years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nisha grew dissatisfied with school districts’ response to students’ learning options and became an outspoken community advocate for students. She worked closely with a wide array of stakeholders including the governor, several school superintendents, the local school board, and the teacher’s union to successfully advocate for safe and timely return-to-school plans. Nisha believes that parents play a critical role in students’ educational experiences and knows that partnering with our education leaders will improve that experience.

Nisha was invited to attend the Public Education Leadership Project at Harvard University as a guest of Denver Public Schools. There she worked alongside several district and school-level leadership teams to focus on strategic problems of practice in order to elevate performance within their districts.

In her role at Education Partners, Nisha supports clients with advisory services, and exclusive thought leadership events.
